The Silicon Valley Computer Genealogy Group (SVCGG) newsletter, PastFinder, an award winning newsletter, is published monthly except December. Members receive the PastFinder monthly, except in December. There is no newsletter published in December. SVCGG members can pick up the latest newsletter at the monthly meetings. Members also can receive a link to the monthly newsletter via email. Nonmembers are welcome to access the issues listed below.
Award-winning newsletter
At the National Genealogical Society (NGS) 2012 Family History Conference, the annual conference of the NGS, the SVCGG published newsletter, PastFinder, won the top honors in the NGS Newsletter Competition, in the "County or Local Genealogical or Historical Society Newsletter" category!
At the National Genealogical Society (NGS) 2013 Family History Conference, the Silicon Valley Computer Genealogy Group newsletter, PastFinder, won the 2013 NGS award in a different category, Major Genealogy Society Newsletter!
