FamilySearch Indexing Project
As part of the huge undertaking initiated by the Family History Department of the LDS Church to digitize the vast collection of microfilmed records. Thousands of new volunteers throughout the world can be involved in indexing these important records. SVCGG has been designated as an indexing team. Our indexers try to index at least one half-hour batch per month. To get started, do this:

Lore Galore Contest
We recently sponsored a contest to encourage family historians to research family lore family lore to track down the real stories behind the junk genealogy. Good research can turn uncertain family stories into family gems. The two first-place winning entries can be downloaded from below.
