Membership in SVCGG

The Silicon Valley group, with approximately 600 members worldwide, is based in the San Francisco-San Jose, California, area known as Silicon Valley. Membership entitles you to a subscription to our monthly PastFinder newsletter.

Membership fee is US$20 per year per household for U.S. residents, US$25 for Canadian residents, and US$25 for all other non-U.S. residents. Membership is available on this website through the online store.  Alternatively, send requests to:

The Silicon Valley Computer Genealogy Group is not affiliated with any religious organization and welcomes members from all religious, racial, and ethnic backgrounds. It also welcomes users of any family-history software package, and offers classes for Macintosh as well as Windows-based computers. We even have an occasional class for Unix users! Many of our classes are independent of the type computer and genealogy software you are using. The SVCG is made up of a broad base of users.
